There were more than 300 people reported dead and hundreds of houses damaged by this earthquake. As a form of solidarity, many parties have joined hands and provided assistance, ranging from government agencies, private sector, volunteers, humanitarian organizations and others, including Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN).

Martha Tilaar Group as one the founders and board member of IGCN also participate in the donation program organized by IGCN and APAD, to jointly ease the burden of earthquake victims in Cianjur. For this ocassion, IGCN cooperates with DoctorSHARE as the party that bridges the donation channeling process.

Through doctorSHARE, PT Martina Berto Tbk, which is a business unit of Martha Tilaar Group, submitted a donation on Tuesday, 29th November 2022 and was received directly by their representative in Jakarta. The donation was in the form of 1,008 bottles of hand washing soap. This donation is expected to help the people of Cianjur to maintain personal hygiene, especially for those who are in evacuation, so they could stay hygienics and healthy.
